Charles Darwin BicenteNnial

The year 2009 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin on February 12, 1809 and the 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of Species on November 24, 1859. The University of Utah joins institutions worldwide in honoring the contributions of Charles Darwin for his work in advancing scientific knowledge through his development of the theory of evolution.
